Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Mumbai Indians in a dramatic IPL match in Raipur that went right down to the final ball, with both teams fighting hard on a tricky, two paced pitch.
It was one of those classic T20 games where momentum kept swinging and no side ever felt fully in control.
Mumbai Indians batted first and were put under pressure early by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who bowled a superb spell with the new ball. He removed Rohit Sharma cheaply and then kept striking at key moments through the innings. MI still managed to post 166 for 7, thanks mainly to Tilak Varmaβs solid 57 off 42 balls, but they never really got complete control of the innings.

RCBβs chase started badly. Virat Kohli was out first ball for a duck, and early wickets left them in trouble at 24 for 2. The pitch was not easy to bat on, with the ball sticking and coming on unevenly, which made stroke play difficult.
Krunal Pandya then played a big role in turning things around for RCB. He scored a quick and important 73 off 46 balls, holding the innings together even while struggling with cramps. He kept finding boundaries when RCB really needed them and gave them a real chance in the chase.

Mumbai fought back well in the middle and late overs, with Jasprit Bumrah and Deepak Chahar tightening things up and picking up key wickets. At one stage, MI looked like they might close the game out.
But the final overs turned messy. A few fielding errors and missed chances gave RCB extra opportunities, and the pressure built quickly on MI.
In the final over, RCB still needed a small but tricky number of runs. Under pressure, Mumbai misfielded a key ball, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who had already dominated with the ball, finished the match in style by hitting a rare and clean boundary to seal the win for RCB.

The result was painful for Mumbai Indians, who are now out of the playoff race along with Lucknow Super Giants. For RCB, it was a crucial win that keeps their season alive and shows they can handle tight finishes under pressure.
It was a match defined by small moments, mistakes under pressure, and one or two standout performances that made the difference in the end.
