Kagiso Rabada’s 100th Test dismissal on day three of the match in Bloemfontein is our Play of the Day.
The catch that Dean Elgar took to dismiss Mahmudullah is worthy of special praise. The ball was travelling quickly off the bat and Elgar had to move sharply to his left to make the grab and send the Bangladesh batsman back to the pavilion.
It was a big wicket in the context of the game, and an even more significant dismissal in the context of Rabada’s career. After only 22 Tests, Rabada has surpassed the 100-wicket mark. At the age of 22, he is the youngest South African to reach the milestone.

Rabada finished with match figures of 10-63, and was named Man of the Match.
