1. Quinton de Kock (wicketkeeper)
The Mumbai Indians’ leading run-scorer in the ongoing Indian Premier League, De Kock’s exploits have kept the franchise in the hunt for a play-off berth.
2. Marco Marais
The Warriors admittedly endured a disappointing One-Day Cup campaign, but have propelled themselves into the CSA T20 Challenge semi-final against the Cape Cobras with an abundance of runs.
3. AB de Villiers
International cricket continues to miss the talismanic right-hander, who continues to deliver time and time again for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL.
4. Rassie van der Dussen
He has cemented a spot in the South African World Cup squad, but isn’t forgetting his roots via a solid stretch of form for the Lions in the CSA T20 Challenge.
5. Theunis de Bruyn
De Bruyn hasn’t struck less than 29 in each of his last eight innings – and is currently the leading run-scorer in the 2019 CSA T20 Challenge.
6. Leus du Plooy
The Northerns batsman gathered 85 not out and 119 in early April’s CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge and 3-Day Provincial Cup finals respectively, and has since joined Derbyshire in the County Championship.
7. Farhaan Behardien (captain)
The veritable forgotten man of South African cricket continued to impress in a floating and finishing role for the Titans – and has captained them to the CSA T20 Challenge semi-finals.
8. Kagiso Rabada
The leading wicket-taker in the 2019 IPL by a long shot, here’s hoping the Delhi Capitals recruit doesn’t injury himself prior to the World Cup.
9. Alfred Molthoa
Evidently surplus to the Titans’ preferences for the foreseeable future, Molthoa dug deep for a superb seven-wicket haul in challenging bowling conditions during Northerns’ 3-Day Provincial Cup final with Eastern Province at St George’s Park.
10. Junior Dala
The unorthodox pace ace took the most wickets in this season’s One-Day Cup – and is currently joint top wicket-taker alongside Lions spinner Bjorn Fortuin in the CSA T20 Challenge, but with one innings less.
11. Imran Tahir
The Chennai Super Kings leg-spinner enjoyed a prolific first half of the month, but has only taken one wicket in his last three matches, yet he remains among the tournament’s top three wicket-takers.
