Simon Harmer was the pick of the South Africans on the English County Championship scene this week.
The spinner, who has been named in the 17-man Proteas Test squad for the upcoming tour of England, claimed career-best figures of 15-207 as Essex clinched a 12-run victory over Hampshire on Tuesday.
He also scored 61 in the second innings as paceman Kyle Abbott finished with 3-71 on the losing side.

Meanwhile, Hashim Amla struck 15 fours in an impressive first-innings knock of 124 as Kent played to a draw with Surrey, while George Linde took just one wicket for 115 runs.
Ryan Rickelton made up for a poor first visit to the crease for Northamptonshire with 103 (18 fours and a six) in the second innings of a draw with Warwickshire.
Colin Ingram starred with his effort of 102 in a three-wicket win for Glamorgan over Worcestershire, but Leus du Plooy had a disappointing outing for Derbyshire, scoring four and three in a five-wicket defeat by Sussex.
Dane Paterson took 3-120 for Middlesex in a draw with Nottinghamshire as SA-born Stephen Eskinazi managed scores of four and 19*.
Dane Vilas was out for just one in a stalemate between Lancashire and Gloucestershire, although SA-born England batsman Keaton Jennings smashed 15 fours and a six in a whirlwind knock of 94.
