Proteas all-rounder George Linde has been drafted in by the Lucknow Super Giants.
Linde replaces the injured Wanindu Hasaranga.
The 34-year-old joins the franchise at his base price of INR 1 crore (R1.7-million) for what will be his first stint in the tournament.
Linde has represented South Africa in three Tests, four ODIs and 37 T20Is.
Over the past year, he has featured in the SA20, The Hundred, Major League Cricket and the Pakistan Super League.
In 250 T20 matches, he has claimed 218 wickets at an economy rate of 7.42, while also contributing 2,746 runs with the bat at a strike rate of 136.68.
