The Central Gauteng Lions beat Western Province by four wickets in a top-of-the-log clash at Newlands on Sunday.
Needing 218 to win, a 104-run partnership from Dominic Hendricks (80) and Mitchell van Buuren (54) set up the chase, before Wiaan Mulder (24*) helped get them over the line.
Tshepo Moreki took 4-43 for WP, who were earlier bowled out for 217.
Edward Moore top-scored for the hosts with 59, while Lutho Sipamla took 3-35 and Mulder 2-39.
In Potchefstroom, the North West Dragons upset the Northerns Titans by six wickets.
The visitors posted 225-9 thanks to an unbeaten 96* off 88 balls from Donavon Ferreira and 39 off 69 from Dewald Brevis.
For the hosts, Dwaine Pretorius picked up 3-22 in 10 overs and Kerwin Mungroo 3-41 in seven.
Shaylin Pillay (85* off 100 balls) and Senuran Muthusamy (43* off 45) then got the Dragons home with 4.1 overs to spare.
At St George’s Park, the Boland Rocks beat the EP Warriors by two wickets in a high-scoring game.
Jordan Hermann hit 150 off 160 balls (15 fours and two sixes) and Wihan Lubbe 69 off 55 as the hosts posted 319-5.

The Rocks reached their target with eight balls to spare, with notable contributions from Christiaan Jonker (70 off 75 balls), Janneman Malan (58 off 58), Shaun von Berg (58* off 39) and Hardus Viljoen (40 off 20).
At Kingsmead in Durban, the Free State Knights won a rain-reduced 22-overs-a-side match against the KZN Dolphins by 39 runs.
The Knights made 175-9, with Raynard van Tonder scoring 66*, while Andile Phehlukwayo took 4-35 and Ottniel Baatman 3-37 for the Dolphins.
The hosts were then bowled out for 136 in 20.4 overs. Patrick Kruger claimed 4-25 and Aubrey Swanepoel 3-38 with the ball.
In Division 2, the KZN Inland Tuskers beat the Garden Route Badgers (SWD) by four wickets and the Eastern Storm secured a three-run victory against the Northern Cape Heat in Benoni. Both games were decided by the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern Method.
