South Africa to co-host Cricket World Cup in 2027

The ICC has confirmed the host nations of the eight white-ball men's tournaments to take place from 2024 to 2031.

The ICC has confirmed the host nations of the eight men’s white-ball tournaments to take place from 2024 to 2031.

South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia will co-host the 50-over World Cup in 2027.

South Africa last hosted an ICC event in 2007 – the inaugural T20 World Cup – having co-hosted the 50-over World Cup with Zimbabwe in 2003.

In June 2024, the T20 World Cup will go where it has never been before, with the USA hosting the tournament alongside the West Indies, which staged it in 2010.

The 2025 Champions Trophy is set to be the first ICC tournament to be hosted in Pakistan since 1996.
