Tahir, Duminy drafted in PSL

Imran Tahir and JP Duminy are two of seven South Africans picked up at the Pakistan Super League draft on Sunday.

Former world No 1 T20 and ODI bowler, Tahir, will be playing for the Multan Sultans and will be joined by Highveld Lions speedster Hardus Viljoen.

Proteas all-rounder and Cobras captain, Duminy, was picked by Islamabad United.

Kolpak players Colin Ingram and David Wiese will be joining the Karachi Kings, while Rilee Rossouw (Quetta Gladiators) and Dolphins all-rounder Cameron Delport (Lahore Qalanders) were the only South Africans retained for their respective franchises for the 2018 season.

According to the Pakistan publication Dawn, each foreign player will receive $10 000 (R145 030, 00) per match from the Pakistan Cricket Board.

The third edition of the tournament begins February 2018.
