A ninth-wicket partnership of 43 between Dayyaan Galiem and Junior Dala carried the Northerns Titans to a two-wicket victory over the EP Warriors in Potchefstroom.
Needing just 120 to win, the Titans collapsed to 77-8 before Galiem (29*) and Dala (14*) showed some composure to get them over the line with three balls remaining.
Earlier, 38-year-old former Proteas spinner Aaron Phangiso took 4-23 in four overs as the Warriors were restricted to 119-7.
Matthew Breetzke top-scored for the Warriors with a run-a-ball 26.
