The KZN Inland Tuskers beat the Northern Cape Heat by five wickets in the Division 2 One-Day Cup final at the Pietermaritzburg Oval on Friday.
Opener Tshepang Dithole struck an excellent 93 off 110 balls and captain Michael Erlank 53* off 77 as the Tuckers reached their target of 255 with 13 balls remaining.
The Heat had earlier posted 254-7 in their 50 overs thanks to Rivaldo Moonsamy (77 off 88 balls), Victor Mahlangu (59* off 61) and Jonathan Vandiar (46 off 51).
Keith Dudgeon (3-41) was the Tuskers’ best bowler.
